"Paper is recyclable, sustainable and contributes to forest development.
Still the world's most powerful means of communication."
Antalis recognizes the concern about the paper industry's impact on the environment and are committed to sustainable timber use, reducing pollution and eliminating waste as well as working with our suppliers to ensure Sustainable Forest Management.
The Antalis Sustainability Charter sets out these commitments: read Antalis' Sustainability Charter.pdf and our Environmental Policy.pdf

- Forests have been increasing constantly in Europe over at least the last 20 years. Cepi calculate that the increase is 6400 km2 per year, equivalent to 4,300 football pitches per day.
Therefore it is important that forest governance is in place to protect and develop the forest, through assurance of legal supply. Two such forest certification schemes are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme For The Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
- The Antalis Asia-Pacific group not only has countries certified to these schemes but also offers paper with both certified and recycled environmental credentials.
Interest has extended from environmental product credentials to Corporate Responsibility (CR). As an organization, the Antalis Asia-Pacific Group focuses on 5 priorities which span across the CR pillars and reinforce the Sustainability Charter as well as The Environmental Policy: -
- Procurement -
Ensure that we request, record and monitor environmental & ethical data for all of our suppliers and their products complied with our procurement policy to ensure our transparent & sustainable supply chains.
- Logistics - Review Goods Vehicle Policy and route planning to reduce environmental impact and provide financial Benefits
- Energy - Review company energy usage and look for opportunities to reduce/seek alternative use of energy
- Business travel - Review the business travel policy to reduce environmental impact
- Waste Management - Review and/or implement schemes for waste recycling on a company wide basis that allows all employees to be actively involved and responsible for the management & reduction of our waste.
